This is the overall eleventh chapter for the 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu manga series.

Summary[]

On Thursday night, Kiyotaka was in his room, hours after the meeting with Suzune and Nanase in the library. While on the phone with Kei, trying the homemade Tom-Yum-Goong he had made earlier, Kiyotaka asked if she found out anything, and she confirmed that she did. Kei shared that the store employee had informed her that they usually sell only one or two of "those" each year and had apparently sold only one since April. Additionally, a first-year student was also going to purchase one, but another freshman intervened and prevented the sale from going through.

As Kei provided a description of the first-year student based on what the employee remembered, Kiyotaka fell silent. He then asked her to describe the person who prevented the purchase, to which she replied that the employee was sure it was a girl but didn't know her name. Kiyotaka thanked Kei for the information and expressed his belief that it could be more useful than expected. He then asked about her partner for the exam, and Kei mentioned it was Shimazaki from Class 1-B. Kiyotaka reminded her that she needed to prepare well for the exam as her academic grade was a D. Kei argued that she struggled to concentrate without him there to watch over her. Kiyotaka asked if she would study if he were there, to which Kei agreed. He invited her to his room at 6 PM the next day to study together, clarifying that it was a study session and they were not going to just hang out.

By Friday, the number of pairs formed had increased to 81. The number also included pairs from Class 2-D which Kiyotaka attributed to Kushida's cooperation with some students from Class 1-B through Takuya Yagami. And thus, several people close to him such as Kei, Sakura, and Hasebe had already found partners.

Kiyotaka and Suzune waited for Nanase in the school library after class. Nanase arrived a few minutes late and apologized, explaining that she had been unsuccessful in negotiating with Hōsen to join them. Suzune asked if Hōsen had prevented her from coming to talk to them, to which Nanase replied that he didn't since he believed that they won't be able accomplish anything without him. After a brief silence, Nanase asked if Suzune truly wanted to form an equal relationship with Class 1-D, and as Suzune confirmed this, Nanase proposed an idea.
