Summary[]
Suzune inquired if the freshman was spying on them. She claimed she just overheard them and asked for her name and academic ability. Suzune introduces herself and adds that she has an A in academic ability before asking the girl about herself. The girl introduces herself as Ichika Amasawa, a member of Class 1-A with an A in academic ability. Ichika then asks whether she wants to pair with her to win the exam. Suzune thanks her for her offer but says that she isn't searching for a partner for herself right now and suggests that she partner up with Sudō instead to help him avoid expulsion. Instead of responding, Ichika asks Suzune if Kiyotaka also requires a partner. Horikita answers that even though he does, he wasn't an urgent priority, and asks if she'd rather pair with him. However, Kiyotaka refuses to partner with her. Suzune wonders why, but Ichika interrupts and states she hasn't agreed to pair up with any of them yet. Suzune inquires if she has any conditions to pair with them, to which Ichika responds that she does. She says that she prefers strong men and would rather not stress over the exam and match with someone she likes. Suzune attests to Sudō's strength, but Ichika says she'd prefer to see it for herself. Ichika proposes that they gather all of the strong second-year students and have them fight each other to prove their strength, after which she will pair up with the winner of the battle royal.
They believe that she was joking, but she assures them that she was not. Suzune and Kiyotaka soon begin playing along, declaring that Sudō will defeat all of the second-year students who come and challenge him. At first, Sudō initially refused to fight, but after seeing his friends' confidence, he decided to accept. Suzune, on the other hand, persuaded Ichika to consider it a victory if no one turned up to battle him, to which she agreed. Ichika stated that she would announce the fight in the general school chat in order to find opponents for Sudō, but she changed her mind as she was about to submit the message and stated that there was no need. She believed that even if she announced the fight, no one would turn up to fight him, since they were all pretty sure he'd win anyway. Suzune wondered if it was a ploy. Ichika stated that it would be pointless to try to prove his strength when it was so clear. She gives them another chance and explains that she adores guys who can cook. Sudō admits nervously that he has never cooked before. Ichika says she will have to rescind the offer in that situation. Suzune asks if it's okay if she cooks for her, but she insists that the person must be a boy. However, Ichika informs them that since Sudō is strong, she will let another guy cook, but only if they can satisfy her appetite. Suzune comes up with an idea and suggests letting Kiyotaka cook. Despite the fact that he didn't know anything about cooking, he agreed. Ichika requests that he cook for her the same day. Suzune, on the other hand, intervenes, suggesting that it would be better if they did it on the weekend because they were in the middle of finding partners for their classmates. Ichika, on the other hand, only allows them one day to prepare and assures them that if he can't cook something she likes by then, she will pretend the conversation never happened. She invites Kiyotaka to meet her at the Keyaki Mall after school tomorrow to get the ingredients. Finally, Ichika bids them farewell and leaves. Kiyotaka inquires of Suzune what she intends to do in response to Ichika's request. She responds that she will devise a strategy. He tells himself that even if he thinks of something, they only have one day to prepare.
The next morning, Kiyotaka checks the OAA application and finds that 34 new pairs have been made, bringing the total to 56 pairs formed since Tuesday. He remarks that no first-year Class D students have partnered with anyone. Kiyotaka comes to the conclusion that he must act immediately or it will be too late. He believes Tsukishiro must have given the White Room student orders to partner with him, so he will be cautious of anyone who approaches him, but he also cannot risk not choosing anyone and being partnered with someone at random. Even though, he had memorized the profiles of all the students in the OAA app in order to narrow down his possibilities, he hadn't gotten anywhere yet. Finally, he resolves to approach all the freshmen he encounters and look for someone he can trust.
