This is the seventh chapter for the 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu manga series.

Summary[]

On Tuesday night, Kiyotaka finds himself talking to Suzune about his preparations for the next day.

On Wednesday after school, Kiyotaka was waiting for Ichika in front of the Keyaki Mall, and she shows up minutes later. Ichika thinks he did well to get there before her. Kiyotaka thinks that she has a good perception. The two of them head out to buy the ingredients. She starts taking expensive kitchen utensils, saying that he will use them exclusively when cooking for her. Among the things Ichika wants to buy, she includes a small fruit knife. Once he finished picking everything she asked for, Kiyotaka checked out the store having spent almost 20 thousand private points.

On the way to the dormitories, Kiyotaka asks Ichika if she was not worried about eating the food prepared by a stranger. Ichika replies that it was similar to how one ate in a restaurant. She also mentions that if she liked the food, she could ask him to cook for her again. However, Ichika warns him that she will withdraw her deal if the food did not meet her expectations. He nods in sign of understanding.

Kiyotaka thinks that pleasing Ichika would not be easy for him, but felt that he did not have any choice but to obey her. He felt that all he could do was believe in Horikita's secret plan and the training she gave him the day before.
