"A Dream I Have Seen Before" (前に見た夢, Mae ni Mita Yume) is a short story for volume 4.5 of 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu light novel series, from the purchase of MF Tape J 065 collection, with other four short stories.

Summary[]

On the last day of her summer vacation, just like everyone else on the cruise, Kei Karuizawa reminisces about the fun she had the last few days. She felt happy being able to meet face-to-face with Ayanokōji everyday and spending time together with him from morning to evening. She felt that if they were from different classes, the situation would had been vastly different and contemplates on whether they would have even started dating in the first place. She realizes that her happiness at the moment was primarily due to the time they spent together on the cruise.

She asked Ayanokōji if she should announce their relationship from the following day. Ayanokōji answered that she was free to choose whether to declare it or not but he won’t take responsibility in her social standing took a dip. Irrespective of that, Kei felt that she definitely wants to claim him for herself and said that she would start by telling her close friends and jokingly said that he would protect her if something happened. Ayanokōji finishes his last cup of coffee and proceeded to hold her hand.

With him grabbing her hand, Kei felt safe and comfortable and wished to stay like that forever. Ayanokōji calls her by her first name close to her ear and which causes her to start feeling embarrassed due to the close proximity. Ayanokōji then unexpectedly kissed her on the lips. Caught off guard, Kei shared her second kiss with Ayanokōji and pouted how he should at least give her a warning. She then wondered whether if it would be considered the third if she counts the dream she had seen before.^[1]
