Summary[]
Preparing for the upcoming special exam, Chabashira went to check some equipment that would be used the next day, but as much as she distracted her mind, the worry she felt didn't go away. Sae stood in front of her desk and tried to calm herself down. While doing that, she remembered that Satō had asked her permission the day before to use a classroom for a cultural festival presentation. Because the cultural festival was being held for the first time, even the teachers were still figuring out the best events to accept. However, on her way to the classroom in special section, she ran into a student who was about to leave. Chabashira noted that the student leaving was Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, with his usual unmotivated expression.
Chabashira inquired Kiyotaka whether he was aware of Satō and the others' idea yet, and he nods in response. She then tells him she is going to check in on them and asks him what he thinks about their idea. She believed that she asked him this question in order to clear her mind. However, when he told her that Suzune seemed pleased with their proposal, she felt that she had no reason to visit them any longer. Ayanokōji also informs her that Suzune has appointed him as the manager of the maid café. Chabashira couldn't picture him as the manager of the maid café, and judging by his expression, he didn't either. She assures him that it will be beneficial for him and mentions that Suzune seemed to have some interesting ideas. As she looked forward to the cultural festival, she felt that Ayanokōji had even more complaints. However, because she wanted him to have a good time at the festival, she told him to take advantage of the opportunity and accept his fate. She then asked if she could borrow some of his time later.
She wonders if she is prepared to face the new special exam or if she had already begun confronting it. She then started imagining the situation in her head.
