Summary[]
With the treasure hunt game approaching its end, Ayanokōji asked Satō to scan the image of one of the QR codes from his phone. While looking at his photo gallery, Satō noticed that he only has pictures of food and landscape on his phone and not a single picture of Kei, making her feel a tad bit happy. She felt that it was mean of her to be happy for something like that against her best friend.
Leaving those thoughts aside, she then began to scan the QR codes. When Ayanokōji asked her to choose a QR on her own, she felt pressured for a choice but Ayanokōji reassured her that it was fine for her to choose any of the QR and added that there was a chance that none of the code might work. After hitting 'claimed' QRs for the first two tries, seeing the third QR code work made Satō happy. However, she didn't look at the reward herself and asked Ayanokōji to look at it. Receiving her phone, Ayanokōji tapped on the screen without hesitation and it displayed the reward of 100000 points to Satō. Initially, Satō thought that they hit the jackpot of a million points but after looking closely, she noticed only 5 zeroes instead of six.
While Satō felt a bit depressed for not finding a rare code, Ayanokōji consoled her that it wasn't a bad code as they earned 90000 after deducting the participation fee which was still a considerable profit for them. Satō thanked him for consoling her but Ayanokōji replied that he should be thanking her instead as she was the one who had found the code. Hearing him thank her made Satō felt happy and she began wondering if she really was a bad girl.
