"A Time for Them Alone" (二人きりの時間, Futarikiri no Jikan) is a short story from Melon Books' store privilege for the first volume of 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu light novel series, together with other three short stories.
Summary[]
Hearing Ayanokōji casually say he could achieve 400 points, Kei was surprised. She wondered if he was being serious and if he could compete with Yukimura as he was now. When he said he hadn't encountered any problems he thought he couldn't solve since entering the school made her wonder if he had full control over his score and would even get full score if he got serious. But feeling his answer was unrealistic, she thought she couldn't keep up with him. When he gave her warning that she should focus as he knew the risks involved she decided to heed to his warning.
She wasn't thrilled to study with Horikita and the rest and thought she would be able to study with Ayanokōji and decided to study there to which He agreed. she then asked him to teach her from beside her. Seeing him sit beside her without rejecting made her so happy she didn't care about the study but soon became focused as to spend a fun school life with Ayanokōji.
