Summary[]
On a specific holiday, students received a school-wide message about a new amusement facility in the basement of Keyaki Mall, described as a fusion of an arcade and a casino. Among those selected through a lottery to attend the grand opening was Ayanokouji. Intrigued, he decided to visit it immediately.
Upon arrival, he observed a sparse gathering of students who had accepted the invitation. However, amidst the crowd, Ayanokouji spotted his usually inconspicuous homeroom teacher, Chabashira, drawing attention due to an eccentric bunny girl costume. With his characteristic calmness, Ayanokouji teasingly questioned her abrupt change in attire.
Chabashira disclosed that the casino was an experimental initiative designed to impart financial literacy to students, drawing parallels to lessons on stocks. Ayanokouji, displaying his usual skepticism, expressed concerns about the potential negative impact of introducing gambling into the educational setting. Chabashira, however, reassured him, emphasizing that the students in attendance were handpicked, focusing on those expected to approach the experience with moderation.
Despite Ayanokouji's initial intention to explore the facility alone, Chabashira insisted on accompanying him due to her embarrassing outfit. She guided him through the various sections, providing insights into the games and activities. The journey led them to a poker table, and Ayanokouji suggested spicing their game with a personal wager, leading to an unconventional agreement: if he won, he got to take a picture of Chabashira in her bunny girl costume.
The poker game unfolded, with Ayanokouji narrowly clinching victory. As per their agreement, he captured the moment in a photograph, eliciting frustration from Chabashira. Initially dismissing the experience as a dream, Ayanokouji was startled when he discovered the photos on his phone, leaving him in a state of horrified disbelief.
