It is also revealed that Tsukishiro has sabotaged Kiyotaka's emergency alert to go off.[1]
In Year 2 volume 4, Katsunori and Tsukishiro confront Kiyotaka on the beach. They advise him to withdraw from the challenge and peacefully return with them to the cruise ship. However, he refused and the two decide to physically remove him with violence. The two attack Kiyotaka who is able to hold off against them. However, they are interrupted by Fūka Kiryūin who explains she has to intervene because she couldn't stand the 2v1 situation. Katsunori then battled the girl, who overcame his onslaught but he outmatched her. Having seen Kiyotaka in action, he decides to withdraw and takes the defeated Tsukishiro away.
