"Like Hell I Will Join" (入るものか, Hairu Mono Ka) is a short story from Gamers' store privilege for volume 9 of 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu light novel series, together with the other three short stories.
Summary[]
Kushida is taken aback when she was called out to the corridor, only to be surprised even more by an unexpected proposition to join the student council. What's more surprising is that Horikita would be her superior in this arrangement. Despite any potential benefits, Kushida is adamant about refusing the offer.
She begins formulating her refusal when suddenly Amasawa intervenes. Amasawa was someone that Kushida strongly dislikes and harbors a sense of hostility towards. Despite this, Amasawa attempts to convince Kushida by suggesting that joining the student council would protect her from those who might wish her harm. Kushida suppresses her frustration, both at Amasawa's interference and her conflicting emotions.
With Ayanokouji present, Kushida is compelled to maintain a composed façade. She resists her desire to react negatively to Amasawa's advances and tries to focus on ending the conversation without revealing her true feelings. Amasawa persistently pushes Kushida to join the student council, causing Kushida to feel increasingly overwhelmed. In an attempt to avoid further confrontation, she suggests changing the venue for their discussion.
Kushida, surrounded by people she dislikes and growing more stressed, is determined not to join the student council. She hopes to conclude the conversation as swiftly as possible, keeping her frustration and stress in check.
