  • Hi there. You're free not to change the format of Measurements parameter in the infobox, which is taken from Character Profile page (an example). Also, as we discussed before, categorization for bra cup is definitely not necessary.

    • Oh, about that, I thought we are following the anime site's presentation, sorry for taking the initiative. On another note, I think you are placing too much importance on mimicking how data is displayed by official sites. It's also more or less essential for us to fully utilize the infobox, as it's not the same as the character profile. Again, the presentation on the anime site can be reconsidered.

Regarding the bra cup categorization, (1) I don't think there are any reasons why we shouldn't, (2) it may be helpful for users. This also applies to 'redundant' categories such as First Years.

Of course, I'd want us to reach a compromise, so I'm open to counter arguments.

  • Based on from the infobox you have shown me earlier, is this new sample fits to your liking? The source code for the template appended in this sample can be found here

    • I think you have misunderstood my idea, although the sub-tab feature is also included in my intention. What I aim for is versatility which allows tabs to be named after editor's preferences. Check this and this to see what I meant.

    • Wouldn't that will only make character pages' image categories non-uniform?

The reason why I chose those specific categories is that they can be universally applied to every character. Also, if you think about it, the purpose of those pre-specified filenames (which for now, appears to be broken files) is to make sure that they are named properly in the future. This also ensures that the image-size follows the predefined image-size in character's infobox. Using tabber as a value for the image will force the editors to use [[File:{{{Image Filename}}}|{{{Image-Size}}}|center]] all the time instead of the shortened {{{Image Filename}}}.

But let's see, I'll try to implement what you have in mind.

EDIT: I implemented your idea at Honami Ichinose's page. My first attempt is at Kiyotaka Ayanokōji's page. Try to see the difference between the simplicity of the editor's input.

    • "Wouldn't that will only make character pages' image categories non-uniform"

Yes, in exchange for preferred naming, unless there's a way to set image category name while still maintaining the specified categorization: Image1=, NameImg1=

"They can be universally applied to every character"

This makes sense. In the first place, there isn't a variety of character appearance so my idea may not fit wiki's need.

Also, I'll revert back to the original template so that we can reach a consensus before dividing any further.

  • Hi~ I have three main points of concern I would like to have your opinion of:

First, do you mind if we rename long article titles such as "You-zitsu Light Novel Volume 1" and "You-zitsu Manga Volume 1" into "Volume 1 (LN)" and "Volume 1 (Manga)" respectively?

Also, regarding voice actor/actresses, are we going to make a wiki page for them or are we just going to link their names to outside sources (e.g. Animenetworknews)?

Lastly, are we going to make a page where it lists notable differences between LN and Anime? Pretty sure some of the fans (who can read Japanese well) have something to say about it.

    • For your first point, I'd rather keep them the way they are named, or to be more precise, translated. As this is a Wikia, I reckon that you wouldn't want every article's title to be abbreviated, since people are going to look them up. Certainly, your idea will keep them easily recognised and distinguishable, but no encyclopedia would be one if it didn't address all information correctly.

For your second point, it is not really unnecessary. We will only list the essential and related info regarding the V.A. and those who read them will get what they come after. Still, we need a plan for what we are going to add.

For your final point, I don't see why not. However, there are other important priorities (perfecting articles) that must be done, first.

  • Hi, King! (You're not self-proclaimed anymore since I called you like that)

I managed to use your color scheme (crimson Hue) for the homepage. I've also added few features such as Story Synopsis, Character Portal, Featured Article (which is currently empty), Related News and You-zitsu Official Twitter Account, Rooster of Content References, Quality Policy Guidelines, Random Volume Covers, and Latest Edits

Other templates for welcomer, sliders, poll, alliances or affiliates box, and Help are retained.

I'd like to get your opinion on this new design. You're at liberty to modify the templates as you like.

    Regards, T.J.Abubo

I appreciate all the changes you made to You-zitsu Wikia the past few days. To be honest, I'm surprised that you are capable of all this. Your dedications truly earned you my respect.

To be honest, I'm barely a starter at designing and coding, and I'm not qualified in a way that would benefit the development of the site. Therefore, giving opinions or liberally modifying sections could potentially be harmful if it were me who did so. But I shall base my experiences as an Wikia Surferer and give it my best.

Information wise, the homepage displays vital details and helps guide the visitors where they want to go. However, something can still be modified to make the homepage look compact, (arrangement of templates, explicit information, naming headers) which I will do later.

Design wise, the page isn't half bad at first glance. However, like I pointed out in the previous message, you shouldn't apply the crimson color to every corner of the Wikia, as to distinguish between articles. The background-color should be set to white to make words look clear.

Overall, the homepage looks fine, despite some improvements that could be made.

Anyway, I wouldn't place too much importance on the homepage. Organizing key features is a good approach, as most wikia have done the same, but the main factor is still articles.
