This is the overall twelfth chapter of You-Zitsu manga series.
Summary[]
Kanji Ike, while talking to Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, wished he had a trick to become a student of Class A in an instant. Hearing him, Sae Chabashira informed the class that there was an instantaneous way for a student to transfer to Class A. She said that by paying twenty million points a student can transfer to Class A.
Hearing her, Ike asked if there were any past instances of such transfer to which Sae said that there had been no past instances as that amount of points can't be obtained through normal methods. When asked by Suzune Horikita about the maximum points amassed by a student, Sae answered that the highest obtained value was 12 million by a student of class B but said that the student was later expelled for fraud. Sae then explained how one can amass points rewarded by school for participating in club activities and winning competitions.
After school when returning to the dorms, Ayanokōji got a mail from Honami Ichinose asking if it was okay if she can formulate a strategy to find the witness by herself. Ayanokōji agreed with her and mailed that she didn't need to ask for permission. While walking, he noticed Kikyō Kushida and Airi Sakura calling out to him. They then sat on the bench and began talking about Ken Sudō's case. When asked by Kushida if she witnessed it, Airi reluctantly agreed and said it was just a coincidence and she felt that if she didn't speak about it now, she would regret it. Thanking Airi for agreeing to be the witness, Kushida smilingly shakes her hands.
The next day, When Ayanokōji reached the lobby, he saw Ichinose at the front desk and called out to her. When he was talking with her, suddenly a girl called Ichinose and greeted her calling Ichinose head representative. When asked about it, Ichinose said that it was something Class B came up on their own. While walking to the school together, Ichinose was greeted by many students who were passing by, forcing Ayanokōji to ask that she was a popular person.
Ichinose walking asked Ayanokōji if he heard about the summer vacation that would be held on an Island in the south. She said that there was a possibility that there might be huge changes in class points in summer break. She then said that there was no way for them to cover the difference between class points outside of midterm exams. Ichinose said that Class B still hasn't lost their chance to become Class A and the rally has just begun.
Ayanokōji hearing her wondered that if the class point difference were to grow any larger, Class D would be in trouble. He thought that Class D might need to work hard. He then wondered if a trip would be fun for him and recalled the only time he had gone out was on a trip to New York with his parents. Noticing the change on his face, Ichinose asked if he hated traveling but Ayanokōji replied that he just recalled a bit of trauma.
Ichinose then said that she was wondering how the classes were split into four. whether according to their abilities or results of entrance exams. She then discussed various possibilities but discarded them all. Ayanokōji asked if it was okay to talk to him about it but Ichinose said that it was just her talking on a whim and he shouldn't feel any concern over it. Ichinose then asked Ayanokōji if she was ever confessed by a girl.
Later in the day, Ayanokōji arrived at the place where Ichinose asked him to meet. Waiting for Ichinose to arrive, Ayanokōji noticed that the place he was called was a popular one. Ichinose called out to him and asked to follow her behind the gymnasium. Ichinose then handed Ayanokōji a confession letter and ask if he would be willing to pretend to be her boyfriend. Ayanokōji said that what she was trying to lie her way out might hurt her in the future and that she should speak honestly with the person in question. While they were talking, a girl, Chihiro Shiranami arrived at the place.
