Summary[]

Chihiro, arriving at the place she had called Ichinose, was shocked to see Ichinose together with Kiyotaka Ayanokōji and asked her who he was. Ichinose introduced Ayanokōji and tried to tell her that he was her... before Ayanokōji interjected and said that he was just her friend.

Ayanokōji then encouraged Ichinose to face the confession without lying to respect the one confessing as it takes a lot of effort to be able to confess to someone. And disrespecting that confession with a lie would just lead to regret for both in the future. Ayanokōji then left Chihiro and Honami to discuss the matter among themselves. He then stood a far distance away from them, away from their sight.

After a while, Ayanokōji saw Chihiro running away crying. Soon after, a dejected-looking Honami came towards him and said that she was only trying to reject Chihiro without making her sad but chose the wrong way. She said that they would try to go on, as usual, the next day and hope for things to return to normal. Ayanokōji then apologized to speak out of order but Honami said that he was right and he doesn't need to apologize for what he did. Honami, then trying to lighten up the mood with a smile, said that it was now her turn to help him.

In his room, Ayanokōji was looking at the KusDa electronics store site page when he called Hideo Sotomura from his phone. He asked him if he knew about a certain electronic thing's availability and ask him if he was able to fine-tune it. Sotomura agreed to help him, set the thing up.

The next day, when Ayanokōji was leaving for the school, he saw a poster on the announcement board. The announcement in the poster entailed details for the search of the eye-witness for the brawl between the students of Class C and Class D. While he was looking at the poster, he was called by Ichinose Honami. Honami said that the poster was the idea of Class B's Ryūji Kanzaki, who also arrived while they were talking. After Ayanokōji and Kanzaki introduced themselves to each other, Honami was informed by Kanzaki, that there was no new information about the incident and that she should check the school's homepage bulletin board for information.

Kanzaki said that there was some information about Ishizaki being well versed in the fight during his Junior high school days in an anonymous mail. Hearing him, Ayanokōji said that if the information was correct then it can be concluded that Sudō was set up by Class C students but the testimony was anonymous and far too weak to be called decisive. Ichinose then said that she would want to transfer points to the anonymous tipper but didn't know how to do it. Ayanokōji said that he knew how to do that and asked her to let him explain it. After transferring the points, Honami left with Kanzaki in tow. Ayanokōji then suddenly recalled the amounts of points he saw on her screen and wondered how was she able to amass that amount. By looking at the amount amassed, Ayanokōji became sure that Ichinose would become a large obstacle when aiming for Class A.

Reaching the staff room, Sudō, Suzune Horikita, and Ayanokōji were greeted by Chie Hoshinomiya. Soon after Chie, Sae Chabashira came out of the staff room and scolded her for sneaking out. When Chie asked to participate in the discussion, Sae refused her. After Chie left dejectedly, Sae said that the discussion about the incident would be done in the student council room in presence of all the concerned parties, homeroom teachers, and student council. Sae then asks Suzune if she would like to back down now but Suzune said she would continue.

In the student council room, Class C had already arrived with their homeroom teacher, Kazuma Sakagami. Among the ones already present was student council president, Manabu Horikita. Sae expressed her wonder for the presence of the student council president in such a trivial matter. The discussions then started. The student council secretary, Akane Tachibana, began discussing the overview of the incident while Ayanokōji wondered about the effect the presence of Horkita Manabu would bring to Suzune. Akane, after explaining the case, asked that the testimonies of Class C and Class D about the circumstances didn't match and concluded that one of the either sides was lying.

When pressed by Akane, Sudō and Class C students argued over how the other one initiated the fight and that they were innocent. Komiya then said that Sudō was always the one who picked fights while Sudō countered saying Komiya was lying and harrassed him because he was jealous of Sudō's achievement. Akane then said that if no proof for their testimony was presented by both sides supporting their claim, then the student council will make a judgment based on the evidence currently available. Even among the commotion between Sudō and Class C arguing about being right, Horikita stayed silent.

Noticing that the judgment was going to be against Sudō, and in turn Class D, Ayanokōji began tickling Suzune, to make her snap out of her daze. He then said that they would lose if she didn't take command in the discussion. Suzune, fixing herself, began asking specifics about the incident and how presence of Daichi Ishizaki, someone not in the basketball club was unusual. Suzune then said that the one who framed Sudō was the students of Class C and Class D had an eye-witness who witnessed the whole incident. She then named the witness as Class 1-D's Airi Sakura.
