Summary[]
On the morning of the fifth day, Ike and Yamauchi were worried because they had discovered something in one of their luggage. When Ike saw Kiyotaka approach, he hurriedly passed him what they had discovered and promptly left, asking him to care of it. Seeing the thing Ike had left with him being a girl's underwear, Ayanokouji was worried.
Later, Shinohara informs the boys that Karuizawa's underwear went missing earlier that morning, and added that a thief in the camp was extremely dangerous. The guys argued that the girls had no evidence of their wrongdoing, but they still consented to have their stuffs inspected. However, after inspecting all of their bags, they still discovered nothing, So Shinohara insisted Hirata to check the boys' pockets. Kiyotaka, who still had the underwear Ike gave him in his pockets, became somewhat concerned. When it was his turn to be inspected, Hirata discovered the underwear in his pocket, but said nothing about it and didn't report him.
Kiyotaka approached Hirata, who had finished checking the boys, and questioned why he didn't report him. Hirata said that he trusted him and knows he was not that type of person, although he still wanted to know how he got the underwear. He tells hirata that Ike discovered it in his luggage, but had no idea how it got there. Finally, Hirata requests that he hand over the underwear so that he can return it to Karuizawa in secret. Although they were able to resolve the incident, Hirata was concerned about the thief that was still present in the camp. As a result, Hirata requests Kiyotaka to track down the thief and inform about it to him.
Because of the incident, The girls decided to separate from the boys because they no longer trusted any of the them, except Hirata. While Kiyotaka was helping in moving a tent, Ibuki approached and remarked to him that as a girl, she will not forgive anyone stealing underwear. When asked if she suspected him, Ibuki denied. In turn, when Ibuki asked whether he suspected anyone, he said he didn't. Ibuki then went on to explain that if it wasn't any of the guys, someone would most certainly suspect an outsider like her. Kiyotaka, on the other hand, declared that he didn't believe it was her. Ibuki was silent for a brief period before thanking him. However, despite saying that she wasn't the thief, Kiyotaka believed it was indeed her who stole the underwear and the reason for believing this was a certain "message" she had given him previously.
