This is the overall thirty-sixth chapter of You-Zitsu manga series.
Summary[]
Suzune writes a text message to Kiyotaka Ayanokōji from her own phone to prevent the phone under the table from listening to them; in the message, she tells him that it is better that they avoid talking so that they could avoid giving anything away. However, Kiyotaka thinks that it would be suspicious if they just stopped talking, and asks out loud if she thinks Ryūen really knows the identity of the VIP. She humors him and replies that she's not sure, but the length of the discussion for the exam is too short for anything conclusive. Suzune then remarks that they too need to try and find the VIP's identity, telling Kiyotaka that it's going to take a lot of effort for him. He complains that there's no way he could try that hard; however, she explains that he only needs to inform about the discussions in the Rabbit group. The two leave moments later. With this feigned conversation, they were able to emphasize Suzune's talent and Kiyotaka's alleged incompetence.
Back in his room, Kiyotaka finds Yukimura sitting on the chair, looking frustrated about something. After he asked him the reason for his frustration, he replies that he was upset about being in the same group as Karuizawa and Sotomura. He also added that there seems to be a pattern in the way students are assigned to groups, and if the pattern was indeed there, it would mean that the school doesn't consider him as an outstanding student, because all of them were put in the Dragon group. Kiyotaka thinks that the Rabbit group is indeed a mid-low level group. Yukimura watches him intently for a moment to which Kiyotaka asks what's wrong. He asks Kiyotaka if he is the VIP, but the latter replies that he is not. Yukimura warns him against trying to hog all the private points; however, Kiyotaka repeats that he is not the VIP and asks back if he was one, to which Yukimura replies that he's not the VIP either. The latter adds that he also asked Karuizawa, and although she denied being one, he had no way of confirming it.
Ten minutes before the next meeting of the Rabbit group, Kiyotaka arrives at the designated room. He didn't expect any other student to be there, and was surprised to see that Karuizawa already present. Seeing him, she shows a disgusted face and sits on chair away from him. Kiyotaka wonders why she hates him, since they didn't interact much. After a moment, she casually asks him if he's the VIP. Kiyotaka replies that he isn't, to which Kei says okay. Kiyotaka is surprised that she just believed his words, especially since the two of them don't get along. However, Kiyotaka thinks to himself that there was no need to confirm her intentions and remarks to himself that he only needs to check if Karuizawa can be someone useful to him. Minutes later, Honami arrives with the rest of the Rabbit group. Karuizawa greets Machida, and Kiyotaka remarks to himself that she had managed to make Machida her ally. Honami turns to everyone and tells them that they should come up with a way to find out the identity of the VIP. The Class A boys reiterate that they don't plan to participate in the discussions. However, she explains that this exam is a matter of trust between members of a group, so today they will play cards. Machida thinks it's a stupid idea, but Honami thinks it will be fun, especially since it's better than spending an hour in silence. In the end, the people who joined the game were Kiyotaka, Sotomura and students from Class B amounting to five persons. They played until the group meeting time was up.
