Summary[]
Karuizawa thanks Machida for exchanging his contact information with her. Manabe and her friends are still furious because of Kei. When the group meeting time was over, Karuizawa waved goodbye to him to leave, and the girls from Class C followed her. Having a bad feeling, Yukimura tells Kiyotaka that those girls must be up to something.
The two decide to follow them and see that Class C girls take Karuizawa to the emergency stairs, and then close the door behind them; both boys approach the door to listen to the conversation. Manabe demands that she confess that she pushed Rika, but she keeps insisting that she doesn't know who she is. To force her to confess, she says that she will call Rika, and if she confirms that it was her, they will call the teachers. Karuizawa then interrupts him saying that she remembered bumping into a girl, and maybe it was Rika. However, when the girls ask her to apologize, she replies that it's not her fault that her friend is an airhead. Manabe, with her patience already exhausted, grabs Karuizawa by the collar of her shirt and pins her against the wall. The latter, terrified, begins to cry, and the girls taunt him by asking what happened to her attitude just now. Seeing that the situation was starting to get out of control, Yukimura wanted to go inside to stop them; however, Kiyotaka puts his hand on his shoulder and asks him to wait a bit longer. Karuizawa implores them to let her go. Looking at her, Kiyotaka thinks to himself that people's true nature comes out in situations like these. Kiyotaka wanted to watch for a little longer to learn Karuizawa's true nature, but Yukimura couldn't bear to see her getting bullied anymore and went into the emergency stairwell. He asks them why they brought Karuizawa to a remote place like this. Manabe and her friends reply that they were just chatting, but Karuizawa claims that they brought her here to assault her. Having missed his chance to witness the conflict, Kiyotaka approaches them and lies to them saying that a teacher passed by nearby a while ago. The Class C girls have no choice but to leave to avoid trouble, though they warn Karuizawa that they will make her apologize to Rika. After they left, Yukimura walks up to her and asks if she's okay. Karuizawa regains her domineering attitude and orders him to shut up, adding that no one asked for his help. She ignores him and walks away, leaving him wondering what her problem was.
Later at night, Kiyotaka meets Chabashira near the pool because he wanted to ask her some questions. At first, she told them there was nothing points couldn't buy, but he wondered if there were any exceptions. Chabashira replies that there are: for example, you can't buy the lives of students or teachers with points. As she was about to mention the most expensive thing ever bought with points, her conversation is interrupted by Chie's, Class B's teacher, sudden arrival. She asks them what they're talking about so late at night, and Chabashira replies that she is just attending to her student's queries. As the two discussed this, Kiyotaka thought to himself that because he was able to hear the conversation between the teachers, he knew that they must feel some degree of rivalry with each other. Despite that, he knows that they try to make the school system fair for all students, so it is likely that Honami had been assigned to the Rabbit group without being told any particular reason by the school. Chabashira finally convinces Chie that they weren't doing anything suspicious, and she leaves them soon after. Picking up their conversation, she informs him that the most expensive thing she has ever bought is a change in the school rules. Of course, this change had to be something realistic, like being able to be a minute late for class and things like that. Kiyotaka thanks her for her information and soon leaves, informing her that he will be asking for a favor soon.
