Summary[]
The final day of the exam had arrived. In a group meeting of the Rabbit group, Ichinose had once again lost another game of Old Maid. Yukimura wonders if she was really okay ending the exam with a game of cards instead of trying harder to find the identity of the VIP.
After this meeting ended, Kiyotaka went to meet Suzune to talk. As he admits that his group will probably let the VIP get away with the points, Suzune claims that she will get the win. Kiyotaka asks if that means she managed to find the identity of the VIP; Suzune doesn't want to share too many details because someone might be listening in, but she assures him that everything will be fine. She then asks why he had called him, adding that she would like to avoid unnecessary interactions. He points out that they can't continue to fear Ryūen's snooping forever. Judging by his tone, she asks if he has any plans. Kiyotaka informs her that he had managed to put Hirata on their side; however, Suzune replies that she doesn't want any of it. He argues that she won't have to talk to Hirata directly so she just has to humor him, but she expresses that she doesn't like him talking behind her back. So, Kiyotaka proposes that she can be present when he and Hirata discusses, but won't have to speak during the conversation. Suzune accepts his proposal with reservations. He then mentions that there is another person he needs to introduce her to, so they need to meet up before the exam is over. She expresses her disgust at the inclusion of more people. Kiyotaka asks her to consider it, assuring her that they will be of great use to both of them. Suzune agrees to meet them before the exam is over. Changing the subject, she wonders how many traitors will come up in this exam. He remarks that they have no way of knowing right now. Suzune sighs for a moment, and Kiyotaka asks her what was bothering her. She thinks that the development of the exam was a bit strange; however, she does not believe that there are mistakes in her victory. The two ended the conversation after this.
Thirty minutes before the last meeting of the Rabbit group, Kiyotaka decided to go to the designated room to wait inside. But when he walked in, he found Honami asleep on the floor with her phone next to her. Seeing the latter, he remembered that he had once briefly noted the overwhelming number of points she had. To access their phones, students must log in by entering information such as their IDs or passwords; though to avoid having to constantly log in, many students stored this information on their phones. Therefore, Kiyotaka thought that if he took Honami's phone he could gather more information about her. When he tried to get closer, she seemed to sense the movement and moved slightly. Eventually, he gave up trying to take her phone because he felt like a pervert. Kiyotaka decided to sit and wait, at an appropriate distance from Honami. A few minutes later, her phone's alarm went off to wake her up, and in response, she fumbled for a bit and stopped the ringinf alarm. Noticing Kiyotaka, she greeted him and apologized for her alarm. He asks her when she came to the room, and she says that she arrived about an hour ago. Since the meeting was yet to start, Honami proposes that the two talk in the meantime.
