Summary[]
Honami tells Kiyotaka that there was something she wanted to ask him. She asks him if he has a strong desire to make it to Class A. He replies that of course he does, just like everyone else. Honami comments that she had already asked this question to all the boys in Class B, although she was curious to see how someone from another class would answer. Kiyotaka admits that it's not like getting to Class A is something he wants, rather, it's something he must do. She asks if this is all because of the school's guarantee to get into any university or job. He affirms this, since it is quite difficult to enter universities or job companies after graduation. Although Honami understands his point, she warns him that it's not good to have so much faith in the system; she maintains that this promise of the school may have a catch that they are not aware of. Even so, Kiyotaka believes that the influence of the school is indisputable, and many people had succeeded in life thanks to it. He asks her if this is not what interests her. Honami denies this and admits that she would also like to graduate to Class A. However, even though she believed in the system, it would be sad if she couldn't fulfill her dream. Because the school operates realistically, it would be easy for them to be labeled as people who weren't good enough. And on top of that, since they were competing to graduate into Class A, that meant that only one of them would be able to pull this off. She then asks if he knows that rule that allows him to transfer to any class using 20 million private points. Kiyotaka claims to have heard about it, and the two agree that it would be virtually impossible for someone to save that many points. Out of curiosity, he asks her if she's the kind of person who cares about saving her points. Honami replies that although she spends them when she wants to buy things, she also keeps the rest. She adds that Class B doesn't get many points anyway.
Suddenly, Honami mentions that Kiyotaka must have seen her points after all. Kiyotaka thinks that she is smarter than he thought as she was able to figure out his intentions when he asked how she spends her points. He apologizes and explains that he saw them a long time ago while she was using her phone in front of him. She tells him that it's okay, since it's not like she's blaming him. However, Honami states that she cannot give him any more details about it. Changing the subject, Kiyotaka asks if she had already came up with a strategy to win this exam. She says that at least she has a clue, and when she was about to explain it, the other members of the Rabbit group arrived. Hamaguchi greets Kiyotaka and asks if they have found a way to find out the VIP. Kiyotaka says that he has nothing. However, he ponders to himself on the strategy he had come up with shortly after the exam started, the one he mentioned to Suzune. The plan consisted of exchanging his phone with the VIP to camouflage his identity, since in all the students' phones there was an email sent by the school informing them whether or not they were the VIP.
The last group meeting begins, and Honami greets everyone. Next, Hamaguchi and Kiyotaka wanted to address everyone at the same time. Even though Hamaguchi asked him to speak first, he let him do the talking first. Hamaguchi tells everyone that for a few days now he had been thinking about how to pass the exam and get the first result. He concludes that there was indeed a way to do it if they worked together. Machida expressed his doubts about the effectiveness of the plan, but Honami asked him to hear what Hamaguchi had to say first. Hamaguchi proceeds to show them his phone with the school email and explains that if they all showed their phone, they could find out who the VIP is. Machida underestimates this idea because she believes that someone will become a traitor the moment VIP reveals himself. Hamaguchi knows that to be true, but points out that those who are not the VIP should have no reason not to show their phones; even if their classmates also refuse to cooperate, they might figure out who among them is the VIP. This is the same plan that Kiyotaka had been coming up with, and he wonders when Hamaguchi came up with it. Some students from the Rabbit group agree with this idea, and Honami was among them. She was about to show her phone just like Hamaguchi, but Kiyotaka decided to show his own before she could carry out her plan.
