Summary[]
At the final meeting of the Rabbit group, some of the students decided to follow Hamaguchi's plan and show their phones. Thus, they expected to know the identity of the VIP. Kiyotaka flashed his before Honami did. The email on his phone confirmed that he was not the VIP. Ibuki was the next to show her mail, confirming that she wasn't either. Manabe asks why she showed it. Mio replies that there's no benefit in refusing to cooperate if you're not the VIP; the only way to catch up with the other classes, according to her, was by following this plan, something Class B was also aware of. Ibuki hints that Manabe must be the VIP, and if she wasn't, she should be able to show her cell phone. Reluctantly, Manabe, along with other girls in her class, show them the mail sent by the school. None of them was the VIP. Karuizawa also followed Hamaguchi's plan, which surprised Yukimura. She claims that she did it for herself, because she wants to earn points. Sotomura was undecided since he didn't know if following the plan was the right thing to do. Yukimura reminds her that it is his own choice, and no one was forcing him. He finally makes up his mind to stick to the plan. Ibuki then asks Yukimura why he doesn't show his phone like the others, suggesting that he might be the VIP. Kiyotaka intervenes and says that he is not, since he had told him so himself. Still, she wondered if he could be trusted.
Honami finally follows everyone's lead and shows them her mail. She was also not the VIP. Machida interrupts her to ask what she wanted to tell them earlier. She explains that she had the same idea as Hamaguchi, and felt a bit embarrassed that he had beaten her to it. After a moment of silence, Yukimura determines that it is best to show his cell phone like the others. But first, he asks everyone for one thing: that no one become a traitor. To do this, everyone will take out their cell phones and leave them where he can see them, especially the boys from Class A. Machida and his classmates agree to put their phones aside. After this, he takes his phone with the school mail. The mail claimed that he was the VIP.
In disbelief, Machida snatched the phone out of his hands to get a closer look. It was a genuine mail, sent by the school. In addition, all the other emails did belong to him, and it did not seem to be the cell phone of a third party. Kiyotaka remarks to himself that this was also part of his plan. The important thing was that Yukimura showed the phone with the mail, it didn't matter if he owned it or not. It wouldn't occur to others that they were traded, much less how. Yukimura confesses that he wanted to keep the points, but decided that this was the right thing to do. He claims that he trusts them. Suddenly, the phone he held in his hands began to ring. Yukimura flustered, causing it to slip from his hands. The device moved across the ground until it came to Kiyotaka's feet. He watched the screen which showed an incoming call from Honami. When asked why she called Yukimura, Ichinose said that the one she called was Ayanokouji and inquired whether Ayanokouji and Yukimura had traded their phones.
