Summary[]
Ayanokōji was venting his anger towards Ryuuen in Class D's camp. He mentions that while they won the "tug of war," they lost the "Pole Toppling" event due to Class C's foul play. In addition, Suzune finishes third in the hurdle race, losing to Minori Kinoshita and Mariko Yajima, the two fastest runners in Class C. In Class A's camp, Ayanokōji observes that Hashimoto was questioning Katsuragi's leadership. While Hashimoto and Katsuragi were arguing, Ayanokōji notices a smile on Arisu's face.
Ike finished sixth in the obstacle course, but is relieved that Ayanokōji is not there to reprimand him. Ike then asks Kiyotaka how he did, and he replies that he got third place. Sudō ends up in the same group as Shibata, but also two unathletic students from Class C. Ike is envious that Ayanokōji was against such easy opponents. After a fierce competition with Shibata, Ayanokōji comes in first place.
The next event was three-legged race for girls. Suzune was once again up against Yajima and Kinoshita. She manages to overtake them during the race but suddenly she turned to see Kinoshita and the two of them collides. Kiyotaka doesn't believe that this happened by mere coincidence, to which Hirata agrees and says that if what he said was right then they would have a hard time further ahead in the festival.
