"Sakayanagi's Preparations" (坂柳の下準備, Sakayanagi no Shimo Junbi) is a short story released as the appendix booklet for Monthly Comic Alive November 2018 issue.
Summary[]
After the end of classes for the day, Arisu began leaving the classroom. Seeing her Leave, Masumi Kamuro approached her and ask if she needed her for today. Arisu said that she was fine for today and was going to make contact with him. Masumi understood that 'he' was Yamauchi and asked her if leaving Ichinose would be ok. Arisu answered that between two persons she would like to get rid of, she hated him more.
Getting the answer to her question, Masumi left the classroom. Arisu then again began to go on her way to Class C but on her way, he saw a lone student walking her way. Seeing him, Arisu greeted that lone student, Ryūen. She felt that she wanted to call him 'Dragon boy' but avoided saying that to be able to hold a conversation with him. She began provoking him to make sure that he had stepped down. But Ryūen said that he won't be provoked by her words and continued on his way. But after being constantly provoked by her for some time, Ryūen agreed to play along and asked her about how was she dealing with the contract that he and Katsuragi had formed. Arisu answered that she didn't think much of that contract and that it only helped her contain Katsuragi. She then asked him to save up-to 20 million and to be in safe zone to save some of his remaining pride. He agreed that he would do just that. Concluding that Ryūen had stepped down, Arisu took her leave. She felt that it was a burden off her that a troublesome opponent like Ryūen had stepped down and felt that she can now focus solely on Ayanokōji.
Reaching Class C, she called out for Yamauchi Haruki, who himself arrived before her. She then asked if she could have a conversation with him and asked if he would follow him to the corridor by the stairs. And as such she invited Yamauchi. She thought that she would give him a ticket to both Heaven and Hell and he would be free to choose the one he prefers.
