"Sakayanagi's Unexpected Assessment" (坂柳の意外な観察, Sakayanagi no Igaina Kansatsu) is a short story released as a special appendix for Monthly Comic Alive September 2021 issue, along with an alternative cover for Volume 4.5 of 2nd Year arc.

Summary[]

As Ayanokōji was retreating on the cruise, Arisu felt that it was a perfect opportunity for her to meet with him. As she was leaving the deck to follow after Ayanokōji, she glanced at Tsubasa Nanase. She felt that even though there might be other White Room student among the 1st year students, she can remove her from the list of suspects as Ayanokōji was trusting her. However, Arisu believed that because of White Room's environment, Ayanokōji might not actually trust her and was keeping her on hand to get any information he might need about the 1st year students.

While passing by her, she checked her body and felt that her high physical stats in the OAA were well earned. Arisu's gaze then fell on her chest and she wondered whether the reason boys would keep her close was because of that instead of her abilities. Thinking that Arisu peeked at her lunch and felt that it was a good meal choice. She concluded that Nanase was blessed with her body from birth and believed her to be lucky for that body. Returning to reality, She felt it to be unlike her to get lost in those strange thoughts.

As she left the deck, she began moving towards the place she guessed Ayanokōji to be at. She felt that even if she guessed the place wrong she could easily find him on the ship by making some calls as she had her own weapons. She believed that it was just a minor inconvenience to get Ayanokōji to become her opponent.
