Kiyotaka Ayanokōji
During the survival test, Kiyotaka acknowledged his intelligence after seeing the way he reasoned.
They first became acquainted with each other after being in the same chamber, also in the same group for the special exam on the cruise ship Speranza. His first impression of Kiyotaka wasn't good, he thought he was as airheaded as Kei, who was also with them in the same group, as they seemed like they weren't able to understand the instructions given by A-Class teacher, Tomoya Mashima, one of the coordinators of the exam.
In Volume 6 of the light novels, his relationship with Kiyotaka changed into a more familiar setting. He is more close to Kiyotaka and the members of the Ayanokōji Group than to the other classmates, where he is seen to be more open with Kiyotaka as well as the other members of the group. Both of them are sometimes on a first-name basis with each other.
In Volume 7, his closeness was emphasized when he candidly remarked that Kiyotaka has no principle with girls since his female friends change and differ from time to time. After this, they hung out with the group to discuss matters such as: the C-Class problem, Christmas and other things.
Haruka Hasebe
She is the founder of the Kiyotaka study group, though not the president of it. She has a good relationship with Teruhiko going as far as to call him "Yukimū".
In Volume 7, they are first seen bumping into Honami and Arisu and having a quick chit-chat with them. Later, she is seen hanging with Teruhiko and her fellow friends of the same group in Keyaki Mall, after that, she emphasized his lack in knowledge about interactions between different sexes when he thought that Kiyotaka was in a relationship with Hiyori Shiina.
Akito Miyake
He is a member of the Ayanokōji Group, he is seen getting along with his fellow friends, and sometimes is on a first name basis with them.
Airi Sakura
She is his fellow member of Ayanokōji Group. They were seen hanging together in front of Keyaki Mall. She too is getting along with her fellow friends, and sometimes is on a first name basis with them.
Kei Karuizawa
During the island exam, the two argued over whether or not they should spend points on a proper toilet for the girls.[1]
They were both placed in the "Rabbit" group during the summer special test. Kei's condescending attitude and apparent disgust at being in the same group with three unremarkable boys caused Teruhiko to greatly dislike her. He also assumed her to be airheaded along with Kiyotaka when they weren't able to understand the instructions given by A-Class teacher, Tomoya Mashima, one of the coordinators of the exam.
Despite his view of her, when he and Kiyotaka overheard Manabe and her gang bullying her, he was the first to step in and try to stop it. This shows that even though he dislikes her, he doesn't want her to get hurt.
