"That First Year Boy" (1年生の男の子, Ichinensei no Otokonoko) is a short story from Gamers' store privilege for volume 8 of You-Zitsu light novel series, together with other three short stories.
Summary[]
After returning to cafeteria from the toilet, Nazuna had met with a boy who had passed by her. The boy calling out to her had said that he had seen the amulet she was wearing somewhere.
Wondering where she saw him, she remembered he was the boy who attracted lots of attention during the relay race with the student council president and the one Nagumo had talked with, a while back. She doubted that he was hitting on her, putting on a naive face.
The boy asked if she had dropped the amulet a while ago and said he was the one who picked it during the winter vacation. She felt ashamed for thinking something rude about him, the one who she was grateful for picking up her amulet. She said the amulet was something she bought in the school and had no particular attachment to it, but it was something like a good luck charm for her and having it made her feel at ease.
She thought that this might be some strange chance meeting and there was something meaningful behind it and she feels she should cherish that bizarre, precious destiny of the day she met with Ayanokōji Kiyotaka.
