"The Dream I Will Forget After Awakening" (覚めたら忘れる夢, Sametara Wasureru Yume) is a short story from Gamers' store privilege for volume 7 of 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu light novel series, together with other three short stories.
Summary[]
Suzune was having a dream. In the dream, Kiyotaka, she, and Manabu were in the same class, eating and laughing together while aiming for Class A. Manabu led their class, while Suzune supported him, and even though it appeared that Kiyotaka did nothing, he continued to support them from the shadows. She suddenly found herself surrounded by her classmates, and while she had once considered them a hindrance, they had now become extremely important existences to her. Yamada, Ishizaki, and Ichinose were somehow also part of her class in the dream.
Suzune wanted to sleep, but a cold wind was attempting to wake her up. The wind eventually ceased blowing, as if granting her wish. Even in her dream, she still wished to graduate from Class A with her classmates. To avoid another tragedy like the one in the unanimous consent exam, she felt that she would have to keep evolving and moving forward. When she wakes up, she will have to take one more step towards her goal; after all, that was the only thing she could do. As soon as she wakes up, she forgets about the dream and walks out of the classroom, but not before remarking that she will go to sleep a bit earlier that day.
