"The Person That Can Find Me" (私を見つけられる人, Watashi wo Mitsuke Rareru Hito) is a short story from Gamers' store privilege for volume 9.5 of 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu light novel series, together with the other three short stories.
Summary[]
As Yamamura Miki notices Ryūen, Katsuragi, and Ayanokouji near Keyaki Mall, she decides to discreetly follow them in an effort to gather valuable information for Sakayanagi. She eavesdrops on their conversation, while hidding behind a vending machine.
In their discussion, Ryūen, in his usual bossy manner, told that he was going in the Keyaki Mall and asks if Kiyotaka would want to join him. To Miki's surprise, their conversation takes an unexpectedly intriguing turn, delving into the preparations for the third term's special exam. What astonishes her most is the high regard both Ryūen and Katsuragi hold for Ayanokouji, a figure she's found enigmatic since their school trip.
As the trio prepares to part ways, Ryūen acknowledges Ayanokouji as a formidable future opponent. While Miki yearns for more information, she decides it's time to halt her surveillance. She acknowledges that while she could blend into the background, she's aware of its limitations. Nonetheless, she began contemplating that her presence is so small that no one will be able to find her as had been the case in the past.
However, her sense of security is abruptly shattered when Ayanokouji unexpectedly appears right above her, expressing surprise at her presence. Miki initially reacts with disbelief, convinced that no one should be capable of discovering her. However, She quickly realizes that Ayanokouji-kun is an exception, someone who can find her despite her efforts to remain hidden.
