Summary[]
In the multi-purpose room, Arisu and Kiyotaka were alone as the teachers were doing some final checks for the exam. She felt like a maiden in love as she didn't want to look away from his face. She finally decided to strike the conversation with him as if fully savouring the moment they had together. She said she was excited as she waited for this day that had finally arrived. After talking for a bit, she said that it was fate that they would meet even if it had not been this school. She said that even if he had not come to this school, she would have waited for three years until her graduation to meet with him but now that he had enrolled in this school she wanted to go all out on him as it was her dream to fight with him unrestricted.
Thinking of him as something of a childhood friend, she kept on talking as if she was yearning for him. When he asked if she wasn't afraid of waking from that dream, she answered it was ok because dreams were something you were meant to wake up from. She asked him not to hold back anything to which he accepted with a nod. Knowing they would not be able to show the full extent of their abilities in a test like this where the overall class abilities spelt victory or defeat, She had conflicting feelings. Teachers returning, announced that the exam would begin soon and they should take their seats. Not being discouraged by no longer being able to see his face, she thought she could talk with him as many times as she wanted and suppressed the throbbing of her heart. She knew the time when her dreams would be realised had come.
