"To Be the Older One" (年上であること, Toshiue Dearu Koto) is a short story from Gamers' store privilege for volume 4.5 of 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu light novel series, together with other four short stories.

Summary[]

Fūka Kiryūin is relaxing on the cruise ship after the completion of the special exam. As she receives her drink, there is a sudden change in her surroundings. All the 3rd year students have shifted their gazes to a certain Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, whom she believes must have noticed but is pretending not to. Fūka has planned not to do anything for the day, but she decides to call out to him. After questioning him on whether he notices the stares from the 3rd years, Kiyotaka says he doesn't find them to be much trouble. Fūka thinks the Student Council President, Miyabi Nagumo, seems to have started taking him seriously. For her personally, Kiyotaka is a very interesting man. She feels that if they were both in the same year, she could have had a chance to observe him much more.
