"What Could Be Seen From That Back" (その背中から見えるもの, Sono Senaka Kara Mieru Mono) is a short story for volume 2 of 2nd Year arc of You-Zitsu light novel series, from the purchase of MF Tape J 055 collection, together with other three short stories.

Summary[]

On her way back to the dorms from the Keyaki mall, Sakurako Tsubaki saw Ayanokōji enter a convenience store and having trailed him until now, even as he showed no signs of noticing her, she knew he had noticed her.

Having stayed a proper distance from him, she took a lollipop and just as he was about to pay for the stuff in his shopping basket, she called out to him. Even after she directed his attention towards her, he wasn't surprised. He asked her what she needed from him without bringing up the fact that she watched him in the café as well. Asking to want to talk with him outside, She paid for the lollipop and went out. When asked what she wanted to say to him, she said she had a message from 'him'. Ayanokōji accurately understood 'him' being Riku Utomiya. She, then, said 'he' would arrive there at once.

Even though she wasn't able to assess Ayanokōji then but she knew she had enough time to appraise him and there was no need for her to hurry. And then—
