Yuki (雪 (ゆき) , Yuki) is a character from the prequel volume of the You-Zitsu series. A student of the White Room's 4th generation, she was once a colleague of the protagonist, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji.

Background

In Year 2 Volume 11, it was heavily hinted that Yuki is related to Sakurako Tsubaki. The exact nature of their relationship has not yet been stated.

Plot

In Year 3 Volume 1, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji encountered Sakurako Tsubaki and Riku Utomiya as he was returning to the dormitory. Kiyotaka suddenly recalled his conversation with Sakurako back in the Training Camp exam. While Sakurako brushed it off since he apparently did not think of it as something important, Kiyotaka expressed his gratitude, as he had recently thought about seeing a person outside of his family for the first time. After Sakurako's inquiry, Kiyotaka had a reminiscence of Yuki, a former acquaintance from his White Room days, and subconsciously thought of the ‘yuki-tsubaki’ flower.

Kiyotaka recalled Sakurako asking him if he liked snow back then and how that question felt different to him now. He also wondered whether it was just a mere coincidence how Sakurako gave off a similar feeling to Yuki. Kiyotaka told Sakurako he had no plans to meet “that person” again and claimed it was just a passing thought.

Name Etymology

• The name Yuki consists of kanji that mean "snow" (雪) (yuki).

Trivia

• Yuki shares the same hair and eye colours with Sakurako Tsubaki.
